Transportation

GETTING THERE

One of the most iconic landings, St. Barts' Gustaf III Airport (SBH) has one of the shortest runways in the world. Because of this, only small prop planes can land at St. Barts Airport. You'll need to connect from a larger island—options listed below.

There are no direct flights from U.S. cities to Saint Barthélemy’s airport (SBH) and aren't available on major U.S. commercial carriers. Everyone will need to book separate legs to reach the island.

Please note that Saint Barthélemy is a French territory, and the official currency is the Euro (€). Be sure to anticipate and plan for prices and transactions to reflect this

Via St. Maarten (SXM)

Most travelers connect through Princess Juliana International Airport (SXM) in St. Maarten, just a quick 10-minute flight from St. Barths. This is typically the most cost-efficient option.

There are frequent flights into SXM from major cities, with multiple shuttle flights daily to St. Barths.
We recommend allowing at least a 1-hour buffer to clear customs in St. Maarten before connecting.

As of September, all Winair and St Barth Commuter routes are live—these are the two main airlines offering the short prop-plane transfer. Expect to pay €240–400 round-trip per seat, and note that you’ll need to book separate tickets for this connection.

Airport hours: SBH (St. Barths) operates from 8 AM to 6 PM, with landings only permitted during daylight. The exact timing of the last flight depends on the season.

Tip: If you miss the last flight, you can always take the ferry after sundown!

WinairSt Barth Commuter

Don't like small airplanes? You can ferry!

If you prefer to journey onto the island by boat, there are several water taxis and ferries that'll drop you on the island.

Great Bay Express & Voyager has a ferry that runs from St. Maarten and St. Barts three times a day in ~45 Mins. They also offer a shuttle service directly from Princess Juliana International Airport and L'Esperance International Airport, both located on St. Maarten. This option is also the most cost effective.

Noting, this option is not recommended for those who get motion sensitive.

Great Bay Express

Via San Juan (SJU)

Another option to get to St. Barts is flying into San Juan, Puerto Rico, and taking a one-hour flight aboard Tradewind Aviation. Tradewind scheduled charter flights are available to St Barths from San Juan (SJU) throughout the day!

Please note you will need to book separate tickets, this is a more expensive and elevated option if choosing to arrive by plane. Tradewind shared charters range from 750 - 1,500 € per seat round trip

The last flight to St Barts depends on the season and the airport's operating hours. St Barts' airport is open from 8 AM to 6 PM, and aircraft can only land during daylight hours.

Q: When should I arrive in Paris?

A: We recommend arriving by Friday, January 16, 2026 to get settled in. join Madison & Jordan for welcome cocktails at hôtel Madame reve, If you’re around. Main Wedding Events begin Saturday evening.

Q: Are children invited?

A: While we love your little ones, this will be an adults-only celebration (with the exception of any children in the wedding party).

Q: Is there a dress code for each event?

A: Yes! Each event has a dress code and distinct vibe — visit the Guest Attire section for visual guides.

Q: Will events be indoors or outdoors?

A: All venues are indoors, but be prepared for winter weather between transitions.

Q: does it cost anything to use dune travel group for any bookings?

A: It is complimentary to use dune travel group for any bookings during your trip to paris (transfers, restaurants, tours, etc). They are here to assist all wedding guests with any needs to make your journey as seamless as possible!

Q: Will Transportation be provided?

A: Yes! Shuttles will leave from Hôtel Madame Rêve before each event. Please arrive 15 minutes before scheduled departure. If staying elsewhere, please meet at Hôtel Madame Rêve or arrange private transportation.
